A foaming, water soluble, cleanser with a liposomal Vitamin C Complex, Rosemary Oil, Witch Hazel extract and Aloe Vera gel to clean pores while helping prevent the signs of premature aging. The liposomal nature of the Vitamin C, the active ingredient, means it is encapsulated by layers (i.e. has a core of Vitamin C and then one or two layers made out of lipids). By encapsulating the Vitamin C, it protects the Vitamin C from oxidation (degradation etc). The liposomes are able to penetrate into the skin carrying the active ingredient (Vitamin C). Only a small amount is needed to thoroughly clean the skin.
